Voting Question: What colleges are there that offer degrees to become a pediatrician?
Colleges in Oklahoma…I want to go to OU or NSU but although I really don’t like OSU, I’m considering it… What colleges offer the education for that. I’m a freshman in High School and we’re doing a project over this. But I really am interested in it. What are some other colleges in OK that might offer this?

Resolved Question: Do we actually need to teach evolution in the public schools? Why not let local districts decide?
It just seems like forcing people in certain parts of the country to teach evolution makes them really mad.

And when you think about, you realize that there is no reason to antagonize them so much.

Why not just let them teach creationism or whatever? It might calm them down a bit.

Some people might get upset and be like, “Oh no, but what about all the smart kids who are getting screwed over by the lack of education?”

LOL. Okay, first of all, let’s be honest with ourselves - rural Oklahoma is not exactly a hotbed of future evolutionary biologists!

At most, kids from places like rural Texas need to learn how to pump gas without burning themselves, or maybe how to hold the shovel while digging ditches so that they won’t develop carpal tunnel.

Come on, man. We all know they have no future anyway. Why make them study a topic like evolution that they probably wouldn’t understand to begin with?
