Resolved Question: How can I deal with this?
Okay, so right now I only have about 20 days until my 16th birthday. yay right? Well for me its not.
I just realized that very soon I’ll be out on my own. I’m going to be graduating at 17.
But I won’t have any family to rely on that will be right there. My mother is already dead and my grandma (father’s mom)..well her health isn’t that good.
I can’t turn to any of the guys in my family - on my dad’s side.
Now if you were thinking about saying that I could turn to my mothers family. They live in California & I live in Oklahoma.
Soon I’ll have to go off to college on my own. I need to go to a college in Ok because they give amazing scholarships if you graduate and go to a college in Ok.
So pretty much I won’t get to turn to anyone if I need anything.
Yes, I do have my boyfriend. But I’m talking about family-wise.
It just hit me all of a sudden how much I have really had to grow up these last few years. I was never given a childhood really & my teen years seem to have disappeared without any good things.
+ I’m being pretty much kicked out at 17.
I just feel like I’m not going to ever make it anywhere.
My uncle - the one that is kicking me out - has verbally abused me telling me I was going to make it nowhere and what not.
I just feel like nothing anymore..
I am close to my Cali family - its just the distance makes it hard. + they are so large. & every time I visit them I feel out of place because they are all so close. I feel like an outside.
monique:: After being told that no one will ever love you & you won’t make it anywhere for about 8 years & always be told that you were getting kicked out at 17 & everything for 8 years - you start to believe it.

Voting Question: University of Oklahoma…can I afford it?
I won’t have much money by the time I graduate high school (maybe like $2000). My mom’s credit is too bad to get any loans. I’ll be paying out-of-state tuition. Is there any chance of me getting the financial aid I need to be able to afford OU? We don’t make a ton of money, and my brother will be in college as well, so that will help my financial aid, right? I have a 3.7 GPA and a 1940 SAT score, so maybe I’ll get a little scholarship? Ok, my point is: do you think it’s feasible for me to get the financial aid needed in order to afford tuition/dorm/books? I’ll get a job while I’m down there.
